Rouse appoints former head of UK patents at Pfizer as the firm’s UK head of patents
Leading international intellectual property law firm Rouse is pleased to announce the appointment of Jason Rutt as its UK head of patents. Jason arrives from Pfizer Ltd. where he was UK Patent Department Head.
With over twelve years’ tenure in the Pfizer team, and head of patents since 2009, Jason’s remit included advising the UK R&D organisation as well as providing EU support to US based R&D efforts. He was also responsible for the company’s global commercial and patent litigation teams and tasked with overseeing all worldwide patent applications and litigation.
He joins Rouse at a time when the firm continues to reinforce its position as a market leading and innovative international IP specialist law firm, providing client service of the highest level to leading businesses around the world. His remit at the firm will be to oversee all patent agency work and to further develop Rouse’s existing strengths in key emerging markets including China, India, Indonesia, Philippines, Saudi Arabia, Thailand, the United Arab Emirates and Vietnam.
